Description
Fox Valley Hands of Hope offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities including grief support group facilitators, hospice companions, individual grief support, clerical support, mission ambassadors, and more. All volunteers must submit an application, undergo an interview, and participate in training. First session is introductory, second session will focus on adult bereavement, and the third & final session covers youth and family bereavement.
PLEASE NOTE - LOCATION FOR TRAINING TBD.
Fox Valley Hands of Hope provides critical support to adults, children and families experiencing grief and loss. In the last year alone, the nonprofit organization served nearly 1,400 men, women and children with volunteer-driven support services and more than a dozen support groups, including school-based programs. All services are provided free.
