Description
Adventure 1843 – Preserving Food by Pickling
This adventure is for kids entering 3 through 6 grades. The two-hour "history lesson” provides a hands-on opportunity for kids to step back in time and experience what life was like in the 1800s – doing what kids did on a summer day back then. Designed to encourage interest in our local history, kids will come home after their history adventure with mementos and activities to continue learning on their own.
Please plan on sending a snack for your child to enjoy during break time.
