Description
The speaker has been the assistant to the special agent in charge of the U.S. Secret Service’s Chicago Electronic Crimes Task Force, where he manages a squad of special agents and task force officers involved in the investigation of cybercrimes occurring within the Chicagoland area. He also has been involved in the coordination of national and transnational cybercrime investigations. He also served on a select committee on Homeland Security.
The presentation will provide an overview of:
- Current cybercrime external and internal threats, nationally and in the Chicago area
- Share real life case studies
- Discuss the importance of careful planning, preparedness and rapid response & remediation
- Will leave the audience with actions needed to appropriately manage these risks/threats, regardless of the size of the business
