2025 St. Charles Scarecrow Contest Application Now Available

ST. CHARLES, IL – The St. Charles Business Alliance is now accepting Scarecrow Contest Applications for the 40th Annual St. Charles Scarecrow Weekend. St. Charles Scarecrow Weekend, sponsored by St. Charles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will be taking place in downtown St. Charles from Friday, Oct 11 through Sunday, Oct 13.

The Scarecrow Contest Application can be completed online, as well as a printable pdf version on www.scarecrowfest.com/scarecrowcontestapplication. Individuals who wish to print out and complete the Scarecrow Contest Application can mail or drop off the form to the St. Charles Business Alliance at 2 E. Main St., St. Charles, Il 60174. The deadline to submit an application is Sept 15.

The categories for the Scarecrow Contest are as follows:
  • Mega/Mechanical Category – Open to all.
  • Clubs/Not-For-Profit/Schools Category – Open to all clubs, not-for-profits, and school.
  • Individual Category – Open to all individuals and families not affiliated with a business or organization.
  • Business Category – Open to all businesses.
For the Business Category, Clubs/Not-for-Profit/Schools Category, and the Individual Category, prizes are 1st Place: $200, 2nd Place: $150, and 3rd Place: $100. For the Mega/Mechanical Category, prizes are 1st Place: $500, 2nd Place: $350, and 3rd Place: $250.
